Ciao!
We are Sylvia and Francesco, and we love our job at Fragranza di Sicilia. Our work involves managing our vacation apartments and boat excursions, along with various other daily responsibilities. We take great pleasure in meeting new guests and providing them with amazing experiences and unforgettable memories. We believe that travel and new experiences stay with us forever, and we hope that our guests get to enjoy their time while staying with us in Taormina.

About Francesco
For many years, Sylvia called Chicago her home, but being born and raised in Poland she hoped to return to Europe one day. Her love for travel has brought her to many countries and wonderful cities, but none have captured her heart like Taormina. As an official resident of Taormina, Sylvia loves to share her knowledge and experiences of the area and to help others fall in love with this beautiful town.
Born in Palermo, Franceso has lived in many places but found his home here in Taormina. His Sicilian style and love for the sea, as well as for boating, makes him the perfect captain to take you on a boat tour around Taormina and surrounding bays.
About our Apartments
The building was built in the 1950s and in 2010, after a partial renovation, it was rented out as a property for vacation rentals. In 2023, the site became the new home for Fragranza di Sicilia and the location underwent an additional renovation. The changes included adding two new private suites on the ground floor, updates to existing apartments, as well as a new reception.
The value of the building is in its central location, and of course, the large common terrace with an amazing panoramic sea view. The building is just a few steps away from the town’s center, but at the same time, it can be reached from the main road. The terrace is a perfect place to take in the sun during the day, but it is also a wonderful location to have an aperitif in the evening with a view of a remarkable sunset over Mt. Etna. For the early birds, it is a great place to see the breathtaking sunrise and take in the colors of our beautiful sea.

Porta Pasquale: Just a few minutes from the city center ...
The apartment is 5 minutes from the main street, Corso Umberto, and just 10-15 minutes from the town’s center, but at the same time, close to the cable car and the Central Bus Station. It is also close to the lookout point Belvedere which offers remarkable views of the Isola Bella and the Taormina Bay. Apartment Porta Pasquale offers public paid parking both at Parcheggio Porta Pasquale and Parcheggio Lumbi so it is easily accessible by car.

Porta Pasquale Vista
We loved our Porta Pasquale so much that we decided to add another apartment right above! Porta Pasquale Vista is currently under renovation and will be available Easter of 2026!
Porta Pasquale Vista is a newly added 65 m² apartment in Taormina, offering comfort and beautiful views.
The apartment features a balcony and a small terrace with a sea view. It includes a brand-new kitchen, modern furnishings, a renovated bathroom, and a new matrimonial bedroom that comfortably sleeps two guests.
Conveniently located near the parking lot of Porta Pasquale and just minutes from Porta Messina, it offers easy access to the town’s main attractions.
